Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chopta
  • Arrive at Chopta, which is a small hill station in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
  • Check into your accommodation and settle in.
  • You can spend the evening exploring the local area, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and experiencing the serene atmosphere.
Day 2: Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek
  • Wake up early and have a hearty breakfast.
  • Begin your trek to Tungnath, which is one of the Panch Kedar temples and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It’s a moderate trek of about 4 km.
  • After visiting Tungnath, continue your trek to Chandrashila Peak. The panoramic views of the Himalayas from here are breathtaking.
  • Return to Chopta by evening and rest.
Day 3: Deoria Tal Trek
  • Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Start your trek to Deoria Tal, a pristine lake surrounded by forests and snow-capped peaks. It’s about a 3 km trek from Sari village.
  • Spend time at Deoria Tal, taking in the natural beauty, and have a picnic lunch.
  • Return to Chopta in the evening.
Day 4: Visit to Ukhimath and Local Exploration
  • After breakfast, visit Ukhimath, which is known for its ancient temples and cultural significance.
  • Explore the town, visit Omkareshwar Temple, and learn about the local traditions.
  • Return to Chopta in the afternoon and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the local markets.
Day 5: Departure
  • Enjoy your last breakfast in Chopta.
  • Check out from your accommodation and head back to your onward destination.
