Rajaji National Park

Overview

Rajaji National Park is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in the northern state of Uttarakhand, India. Established in 1983, it covers an expansive area of approximately 820 square kilometers and is named after C. Rajagopalachari, a prominent Indian freedom fighter.

The park is situated at the foothills of the Shivalik range and is a significant part of the larger Shivalik Elephant Reserve.
